Australians are divided over whether a new skimpy black outfit is trendy or tragic - with some likening the 'confusing' styling as someone 'exiting a public shower'.
The barely-there $59 Westside Crop and $69 La Maison low-rise midi skirt with ruched detailing from Australian clothing brand were styled with a pair of white crocs.
The outfit attracted a lot of attention after a woman posted the image to a popular Facebook group with the caption 'Won't lie. l I'm confused. What is this get up?'.
Fashion lovers on social media are mocking a daring outfit with a barely-there cardigan top and low-rise midi skirt with ruched detailing from Australian clothing brand Lioness and a pair of white crocs after it was posted to a popular Facebook group
'Crocs, a shrug with a forgotten top and a skirt that looks like a wrapped towel. Is she gardening? Coming out of a public shower?' the woman wrote.
Many people took to the comments to share the original poster's confusion and mock the 'ugly' ensemble.
'At least the 90s/early 2000s kids and teens won't be alone in the "wtf were we thinking" category if this is the fashion now,' one woman said.
'This top reminds of how I wake up when wearing a singlet and no bra,' another joked.

Aug 16 (Reuters) - Juventus forward Angel Di Maria suffered a thigh muscle injury on his Serie A debut and will out of action for at least 10 days, the Turin-based club said on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old Argentine international opened the scoring and set up another goal in Juve's 3-0 victory over Sassuolo on Monday before he was withdrawn in the 66th minute.
"Di Maria underwent scans this morning ... which revealed a low-grade lesion of the adductor longus muscle of the left thigh," Juventus said on their website website
"The extent of the injury will be re-evaluated in 10 days."
